Every year, Malteurop, in partnership with schools, offers a limited number of long-term traineeships.
The Malting Operations Manager has a hand in determining malt production objectives, along with costs, delivery times, quality, and quantity. This implies a close collaboration with all Malteurop’s departments, with the brewer customers, and with the barley suppliers.

Permanent training areas focus on two major themes:

The Varietal Development Manager is a demanding field worker, testing varieties of barley – our raw material – through growing experiments and analyzing them according to qualitative and agronomic criteria.
Malteurop has an international Technical Department whose goal is to optimize the industrial process at two levels – that of the malting process itself and that of the design and renovation of malting plants.
Working together: Malteurop also puts that philosophy into practice with its own suppliers, seed producers-breeders, storage operators, and carriers. For in fact all of them make important contributions to the proper operation of the barley value chain, in particular as regards traceability and food safety.
